Having graduated with honours as a designer-craftsman, Christopher produces fine contemporary furniture from his own workshop in Wales. He works mainly to commission, using well-managed local timbers wherever possible, as well as other materials. He has many influences from the past, particularly the Barnsley Shool of Arts and Crafts Makers.
Christopher aims to make pieces that are fresh and individual, but will sit well with furnishings of other eras, rather than art pieces which need a space all of their own. He uses traditional or modern techniques, whichever is appropriate to the piece.
Commissioning a piece is very easy and enjoyable process, and clients are encouraged to visit the workshop from time to time to see the work in progress.
